AltaGas has expanded from an Alberta-based midstream pipeline operator to a well-diversified utility. Power, gas utilities, and pipelines each provide about one-third of its revenues. Its powerstations are almost entirely run by clean energy sources such as hydro, wind, and gas. The company operates in B.C., Alberta, Northwest Territories, and Nova Scotia as well as in Alaska and Michigan.
