Choice Properties is the vehicle for the Weston family’s Loblaws-anchored property assets, which contributed over 55% of its rental revenue in 2020. The REIT held 717 properties as of June 30, comprising 66.4 million sq. ft., with 42% in Ontario, 20% in Alberta, 14% in Quebec, and 10% each in BC and the Atlantic provinces. In addition to Loblaws, tenants include Canadian Tire, TJX, Dollarama, Staples, and LCBO.
