Income Investor

P&G reported second quarter fiscal year 2025 net sales of $21.9 billion, an increase of 2% versus the prior year. Organic sales, which excludes the impacts of foreign exchange and acquisitions and divestitures, increased 3% versus the prior year. Core earnings per share were $1.88, an increase of two percent versus prior year. Operating cash flow was $4.8 billion, and net earnings were $4.7 billion for the quarter. The company predicted sales growth of 2-4% in the current fiscal year, but that was before the tariff wars were launched. P&G generates about half its sales outside North America. Hold. P&G is a world class company but the impact of tariffs on its business is a question mark. - Gordon Pape
