Founded in in 1988, Northland operates 3.4 Gigawatts (GW) (2.8 GWs net) of clean power generation from offshore wind (1.2 GW), onshore wind and solar (1.6 GW), and natural gas (0.7 GW). Geographically, Northland operates in Canada, with 1.25 GW power generation, in the US (220 MW), Germany (1.18 GW offshore wind), and Spain (559 MW solar). It also operates a small (16 MW) power utility in Colombia and recently sold its 130 MW solar facility in Mexico for $205 million.
